Meeting with City Staff
Pre-application consultation meeting with City Staff to discuss details of the proposal, including built form, podium design and materiality, the Downtown Plan, as well as the Union Station Heritage Conservation District and design guidelines.
22 March 2019
Meeting with Ward Councillor
Meeting with Councillor Joe Cressy and City Staff to go over the proposal and overall community engagement process.
26 April 2019
Meeting with Toronto Entertainment District BIA
Introductory meeting with the Executive Director of the Toronto Entertainment District BIA to present an overview of the development proposal, the project website and next steps.
10 June 2019
Meeting with TEDRA
Introductory meeting with the Toronto Entertainment District Residents' Association to present an overview of the development proposal and discuss key neighbourhood considerations.
22 August 2019
Application Submission
Submission of our rezoning application to the City of Toronto, which includes a number of plans and reports.
14 November 2019
Preliminary Report Issued
The City issued a Preliminary Report for our rezoning application. This report provides information about our application and outlines a preliminary set of topics for further discussion.
23 January 2020
Community Consultation Meeting
City Staff hosted a Community Consultation Meeting to discuss our proposal. Members of the project team were in attendance to present the proposal, respond to questions and hear feedback.
January - September 2020
Proposal Revisions
The project team reviewed comments and feedback from the City and broader public, and worked on making revisions to the proposal.
8 September 2020
Rezoning Application Resubmission & Site Plan Application Submission
Taking into consideration the City and the public’s comments into account, the project team made refinements to the plans and updated the proposal. Together, these updates constitute our second rezoning application submission and our site plan application submission to the City.

The project team made refinements to the plans and filed the second rezoning application resubmission.
16 June 2022
Final Report
City Staff issued a Final Report recommending approval of the rezoning application.
